ECOS stands for

The Project
Web Audits is a non-profit open-data and open-source project for analyzing websites. It considers technically measurable and quantifiable indicators. The evaluation approach is based on general industry best practices.
Objectives
- Evaluating URLs according to Efficient, Clean, Open, and Safe criteria as a starting point for evaluation and optimization.
- Benchmarking: Building a database to show a cross-section of the current internet and compare individual results with the global average.
- Continuous development of the audit regarding the conceptual framework as well as the measurement of individual indicators.
