Benchmarks – ECOS Database Cross-Section
This overview shows the statistical distribution of all audits performed. The dataset covers the total ECOS score and all sub-categories and is updated daily.

Mean: The arithmetic average of all results.

Median (p50): The exact middle — 50% of websites score higher, 50% score lower.

Percentiles (p10 – p90): These values help put a result in context. A URL at p90 belongs to the top 10% of all tested pages. A result at p25 means 75% of the database scores higher.

The violin and box plot shows the distribution density: the wider the shape, the more websites scored in that range. The inner box plot marks the middle 50% of the data, with the line representing the median. The outer lines (whiskers) show the spread from the p10 to the p90 percentile.
