Benchmarks – ECOS Database Cross-Section

Mean: The arithmetic average of all results.

Median (p50): The exact middle – 50% of websites are better, 50% are worse.

Percentiles (p10 – p90): These values help with classification. For example, if a URL reaches the p90 value, it belongs to the top 10% of all tested pages. Conversely, a value at p25 means that 75% of the database performs better.

The visualization as a violin and box plot shows the distribution density: the wider the shape, the more websites scored in that range. The box plot inside marks the middle 50% of the data, with the line representing the median. The outer lines (whiskers) show the spread of values from the p10 to the p90 percentile.
